Also located in White Haven, Alfortene Golf Links offers visitors another affordable 18-hole course. Rates for this public course are $30 for 18 holes on the weekend and $20 on weekdays.

Located at the foothills of the Poconos in nearby Wilkes-Barre, the Wilkes-Barre Golf Club is a challenging, 18-hole public course. Like Mountain Laurel Golf Club, the course also offers golfers an extensive practice facility that includes a driving range, pitching and chipping greens as well as a sizeable putting green. In addition to amenities such as paved walkways and motorized carts, Wilkes-Barre offers a halfway house where golfers can snack before hitting the back nine. Rates vary based on weekend, weekday and time of day.
